Birthday for a Young Man

Welcome - as promised, another card.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves and keep the words to a minimum.

I started out with a totally different idea, but it just did not work, so I changed tack, and this is the result.

The main image was stamped in a deep red on kraft card stock.

The scripture was gold embossed and sponged before I mounted it on foam dots.

The sentiment was also gold embossed and the edges sponged, before being mounted over raffia ribbon on foam dots.

Thank you for visiting - may your day be blessed.

Recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs Keep My Lamp Burning
            hero Arts Little Happy birthday
Inks: Clear embossing, Pearlescent Poppy
Accessories: Gold ep, raffia

A really lovely card and sentiment Maxine.

Isn't it funny how sometime a card never goes to plan, we change direction and end up with a stunner, as here.

Thank you so much for sharing with us at Penny Black and More this month, good luck and have a lovely Christmas.
