Victoriana in Green

Welcome

Here is another card made using the second woman from the Victorian Ladies set of stamps.

I used chalks to colour the image in green tones, and then mounted the fussy cut image onto some red mulberry paper.

This was layered over a die cut in silver card, with some silver web ribbon layered between the two, and some plain rhinestones either side of the image.

The sentiment was embossed in silver and also mounted over a layer of red.

The image and sentiment were then mounted over a panel of green striped paper than had been embossed with a Tim Holtz folder, and had sage ink applied direct to the paper.  This was then layered onto a dark green base tyo complete the card.

Lovely card. Great job with the fussy cutting. I struggle with that myself. I love the web ribbon. I need to get my hands on some of that! Thank you for joining us at OSAAT. Good luck.

This is so pretty colored with the chalks, it looks like she could walk right out of a story book! I'm LOVING this in green, too - such a eye catching color! Well done, my freind!

This card is so elegant Maxine - full of Edwardian glamour. I love that image, her mount, the ribbon - and the backgroung paper intrigued me as the green raised squares from your embossing do not look as though they're stiped (perhaps I need to clean my glasses :-) ) Good luck in our challenge this week.
