Sunflowers and Shimmery Butterflies

Welcome

The image on this card was coloured while I was visiting DH in hospital last week - I needed the card in a hurry, so I then dashed home and just before the light faded completely I sorted out the papers etc to complete it - thank goodness for daylight savings time!!

I found this image on Pinterest, traced it backwards, and discovered that it came from here on 1001 ColoringPages.

I coloured it with prismacolor pencils - no blending as there was no time!! Die cut it with a square S/B die, and backed it with a scalloped die cut.

Stamped and embossed the vertical sentiment after deciding to use this layout that I have seen around the 'net quite a bit.

The final details were the butterflies which I coated with WoS, but it came out rather fast and the twinkle really showed up, and some yellow rhinestones.

Your pencil coloring is a big WOW! Even when you say it's not blended, it still looks very smoothly done, with no harsh lines that I can see. Love the layout and the tiny butterfly. Hope DH is feeling a lot better, and home with you now rather than the hospital. Take care, have a great week, the both of you. TFS

I like those extra glitz butterflies. Sometimes when the WOS comes out too fast it works out, other times not so much. Great quicky card. I like that layout and I've seen it around the net a lot but never made it myself.
