Santa's Got The Blues

Welcome

This card was a commissioned  for a youngster "who loves blue!"

The image was compliments of Mr G**gle .  After printing, I painted the tree blue using iridescent medium and blue acrylic paint, and the ornaments, Rudolph and santa using a mix of sparkle pens and sparkling H2O's

I fun flocked Santa's beard and white trim

The Sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs, gold embossed, as were the edges of the feature panel

I also used some blue punch waste behind the feature panel to add to the shimmer and shine

I had hoped to show several other  Christmas cards I have made, which I have been 'holding off' on until delivered, but now my computer is not playing fair (or I'm not getting it right), and I can't seem to move them out of the file they downloaded into  ... I hate to admit, but I suspect it is the latter!!

  5. Love your new signature hunny! It's fabulous! Gorgeous job on this sparkly wonderful scene. Love the gold embossing! Wishing you and yours a beautiful Christmas this year. You've been on my heart and mind hunny, as I know how tough this one will be without your hubby. There will be a hole he should have filled in your celebrations, so I send you love and happiest wishes to lift you above that ache of loss and see you through to a super happy 2018, Wends xoxo

  6. Loved this title! And how clever to find such a cute image in googleland and make it especially your own. The technique you did with the iridescent medium and paint looks great, and I have some of the I.Medium, never used! I like your new signature too (had to go back to check it after seeing the above comment). TFS, Hugs & Merry Christmas
