Seas The Day

Welcome

Sorry I have been slow in posting again - I have been having major email issues which have thankfully now been resolved, but they have taken time.

I bought a magazine recently that had a fabulous set of stamps in it with a beach/nautical theme
by Clear Impressions.

I stamped the images in blue, and then coloured them with my Polychromo pencils, and added a few highlights with my white Signo pen.

While I was colouring the circular image I kept the negative of a circle die cut at the edge of the image to keep the colouring inside the unmarked border.   I then framed the image with a double die cut circle, and added the champagne flat back pearls to give the impression of  a view
 through a  porthole.

The sentiment was stamped in the same blue ink.

I used a lighthouse image from the same set to make a pop-up element on the inside of the card,

and also completed the sentiment on the inside.

The final detail was the coarse linen twine used as an embellishment on the outside of the card

Oh may; you had email issues, here the total glassfibre was broken, so no internet, TV or phone here...luckely that is all solved and the PC that didn't want to start again starts too and is filled again (I was left with just the bear programms...so good that I make backups; now I only lost 2 days work....jah when a thing like this happened it always are more days than the one you excpect because you make backups every 2 days... Well that is done, so now just back on track again and trying to catch up :) Hope you have a better week as I did last week!
