Welcome
It seems as though I have lots of 7th birthdays at the moment - in May I will start the next round as the first one turns eight years old...
I had made a card for an order using this fold, so decided to make another with the other half of the sheet of cardstock.
I started this card by making the folds and then adding the background paper to the side of the folds that will be showing, and then I adhered some paper lace to the top border - both sides are seen as the card folds, so I put two layers on, which then also solves the problem of the sticky back :)
The sentiment was embossed in Denim EP on the front panel
To each panel of paper I added Kindy Glitz to the flowers, and stamped a ladybug and added sparkle with Kindy Glitz to that too.
On the largest panel I also stamped some butterflies and glittered them.
The stamps were from an old Stampin' Up set called Garden Whimsy, and I coloured and stamped them using markers. For the butterflies I used a fine mist before stamping to give a watercoloured effect.
The plain coloured panel is for the sender to write their message on, and because of the folds, it is hidden from view when the card is displayed.
The final detail was the die cut digit, which was cut from purple sparkle card (although it shows more blue here) and a wee bow in purple ribbon.
