This card is the result.... not quite what I had in mind, in the end, but it is staying as it is for a while, and in the 'stash' as an any occasion card - I may even be able to add an appropriate sentiment under the bow in the future...
The bottom right corner has been obscured by my white background cloth - it is still there, honest!
The base of the card is kraft coloured, the long strips are from an 'el cheapo' pack from the local Warehouse store, and have been run through the Cuttlebug embossing folder Swiss Dots.
All the edges have been sponged with Rouge chalk ink. The dragonflies are from an Our Daily Bread Designs set Heartfelt Sympathy and I have painted their wings with iridescent red Twinkling H2O paint which just shows on the top right dragonfly.
