Red, white, black and gold!!

Hello and thank you for calling by again - this time my posting showcases another Priscilla Styles image - a corset!!     I must admit I love this image.

I printed the corset off and painted it with a shimmer paint that really brought it to life, and showed through the red roses after I had coloured them.

I then decided that it was too glamorous to have black (printed) lacing, so I cut the image and laced the corset with genuine gold thread (left over from the days when I used to embroider...)

The corset image was mounted onto a spellbinders "dotted circle" background, and then I threaded the fine ribbon through the gaps at the base of the embossed dots, and added three gold rhinestones on either side of the circle.

This was put aside as I decided on the base - as I wanted the image to take
centre stage, I kept it simple and white, and textured it with a cuttlebug herringbone  folder.

I then added the rich red and gold ribbon, mounted the image panel on foam tape and decided the corners needed some glamour, which was provided with a vintage corner by cuttlebug, and more rhinestones.

And here is the finished product
