Birdwatching

This is my second post for the day,  scroll down to see the first one.

I love this image released by McMahon Five Design.com this week of a girl in a tree, entitled Watching Birds - this reminds me so much of myself sitting in a tree (reading, rather than watching birds).


I printed it on some thin card, and painted it with Lyric watercolour crayons.


It was then mounted onto a bright yellow card, which I muted with some Tea Stain distress ink before mounting onto paper from the Prima 6x6 stack, Fairy Flora.  This was then mounted on a bright green base, and some wee bling flowers added - IRL they are  mauve and pink, not blue, and look good on the card.

  1. Beautifully done Maxine! I can imagine sitting in a tree like this in a dress....LOL I was always enjoying 'the view from up there' when I was younger! Your DSP choice is so pretty too!'
