Welcome, thank you for calling in.
Today I am sharing a 'flashback' image from McMahon Five Designs called
I started by printing the image and sentiment on a piece of paper from a Prima 6x6 stack called Romantique.
I ran Crystal Stickles over the image details.
Made a row of flowers from some red paper I had on hand, and sprayed them with silver spray paint, which decided to flake off as I 'scrunched' them.
It still looked as though it needed something more, so I added these 'cocktail stars' - one of the first things I bought when I started card making some 10 years ago - so glad paper craft supplies don't 'go off'!!
I used them randomly around the cupcake and in a row under the sentiment to give it some focus.
Mounted the whole onto a red card base and I was done.

Thanks for calling by - may your day be blessed.
Hello Maxine - what a YUMBLY card - the fonts on the sentiments are fabulous and the colours YUMBLY! Your added shimmer is gorgeous Maxine, along with the stars! Love it! Thank you for sharing! {{{hugs}}}

Beautiful! I'm loving those gorgeous flowers, too!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! A real digital card! I would never have thought of printing the image and sentiment out like that. It just looks beautiful. xx
ReplyDeleteVery nice card! Our challenge this month is to use 3 exactly like items and the flowers are different sizes in your card. But it looks like the brads in the middle of the flowers are the same so I will ok your entry. Thanks for joyning the challenge at HeidisHobbystuggu.
ReplyDeleteOooh Maxine! What a gorgeous sparkly card! Those flowers are wonderful... and I think it looks great how the paint has flaked a bit! I agree it's just as well craft stuff doesn't go off - it's great digging up something previously unloved that's exactly what you needed!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining our Heart Song Inspirations Challenge! Hugs, Shannah xox
