Welcome, and thank you for visiting again.
I have had a run of making baby cards recently, and this one was made with the Stamping Sisters In Christ challenge in mind.
The challenge was to Dig in your stash and use one of your oldest stamp sets, one that hasn't seen any use for a long while.
I used two of my original stamps in the background - the script stamp is from Kiwistamping, a local company who are totally responsible for my stamping addiction, and my first ever purchase are the flower stamps, two from a trio from Hero Arts which is now deleted. The script was simply stamped with chalk ink, and the flowers were stamped with embossing ink and clear embossed.
The adorable focal image is a digistamp, a freebie, by May Brit. This was coloured in chalks after being printed in Cryogen paper, and was mounted on foam dots for some dimension.
This photograph gives some idea of the subtle sparkle in the paper that shows through the colouring medium.
I fussy cut the image and mounted it on an oval cut using a Nestabilitie Classic oval that was sponged before removing the die. this was mounted over the organza ribbon which was folded in half to get the strong colour and correct width. The bling was the final touch.
