Welcome - thank you for calling in.
I have definitely come to the conclusion I am (getting) old - time is moving too fast, well, much faster than me! It came as quite a surprise when I realised it was over a week since I had blogged.
I have been busy with various things - getting the gardens sorted ready for the worst part of winter, giving the lawns a final mowing, etc.
In my spare moments I have been crocheting flowers.... this is my stash so far.
I also made three cards last weekend - and promptly sent them off without photographing them - the light was not good enough when I finished them, and I got them ready for posting next morning without thinking that they needed to be photographed :-(
So here are four I did a few weeks ago as samples for KiwiStamping.
I have also started on another two sleep suits - this time for Munchkin, Button's cousin - he is three weeks younger, but whereas she is a petite 2 year old (in the 25th percentile for her age group) Munchkin is a big boy - up somewhere in the 94th percentile or there abouts. It is amazing me just what that means for sewing the same pattern for them... major adjustments in some areas!!
Thanks for calling by - May your day be blessed.
What darling cards and what INCREDIBLE FLOWERS. . .those are amazing!!! And can't wait to see the newest sleep wear for your Munchkin! Blessings and hugs!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful, Maxine. I'd love to be able to make some like those. Maybe when I've had a bit more practice! And your cards are gorgeous, such sweet images.

ReplyDeleteYour crocheted flowers look amazing.
ReplyDeleteI understand how you would have been annoyed to have made your cards and sent them off before photographing them.
Your cards are wonderful. All so different. I think the third one (Thanks card) is my favourite.

Luv & Hugs, Trish x
Cute cards Maxine and love the crocheted flowers!! Such pretty colors and adding one of those to a barrette would look nice, you think? A pretty embellishment to about anything :)
ReplyDeleteAll your cards are fabulous Maxine. I just love those crochet flowers, and yes the time is flying by.
ReplyDeleteHi Maxine! I know what you mean about 'not moving as fast as I used to!' ... LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour crochet flowers are AWESOME ... wish I could do that. I crochet but just things like scarves/afghans ... bigger stitches ... don't think my eyes could handle this closer work.
Your cards are FABULOUS too ... each and every one of them. We have a 'going in circles' challenge going on right now at The Sisterhood of Crafters ... why not link it up ...
Have a fabulous day and try not to work too hard! Summer is just beginning here in Ohio, USA so I too am busy outdoors in my flowerbeds & lawn but just getting it going vs putting it to sleep! HUGS!
