Welcome - thanks for visiting my blog.
I have had a gap in my blogging thanks to 'real life' being rather busy.
I did manage to get some crafting done this past weekend, and I am working towards Father's Day (on Sept 2nd here). This is what I crafted for my DH.
I have loved this image from The Graphics Fairy for sometime, and decided to use it for this card. I distressed and sponged the edges of the image panel.
I also printed off another single watch image, and covered it with a vellum tag on which I had hand written and embossed 'Love you'.
The main image was mounted on a distressed green panel and then over a brown panel. I swiped the edges of the brown panel with embossing ink and dipped it into the gold embossing powder and heated it.
I hand wrote the second sentiment with a gold pen, then mounted it all onto a red base.

ReplyDeleteCUTE!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Maxine, this card is lovely any father would be delighted to receive it. The one with the little handmade yellow flower is my favorite, it is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI hope that your grand-babies are feeling better now. I'm sure it was a great help for your daughter to have you there to help. It's really hard to get anything done when you have two sick little sweeties to comfort.
I was out looking at blogs that my followers follow and that is how I found you. I am your newest follower. Please come over and visit. I am a retired wife, mother and grandma. My present post is about hat stands that I made from recycled candle-holders and small lamps, but I also blog about paper crafts.
Have a lovely day. I'm looking forward to following your creative journey and becoming great blogging sisters. Connie :)
