I was inspired by my friend Linda's use of the crayon resist technique, and this is the result of my effort.
I stamped the images while the card was still in the die, and then clear embossed them out of the die.
The panel was then placed back in the die, the white crayon applied within the butterflies and ink sponged over the images.
The sentiment was then stamped and embossed in white , and some assorted white pearls added to the panel.
After mounting the coloured panel on the embossed background, I added a ribbon and bow to (ahem) hide the fact that the top butterfly did not stamp well due to the edge of the die holding the stamp off the card...
