Washi Tape and Flowers

Welcome - I am glad you have chosen to visit me.

Life has been busy here with family visits and dental visits and a card class taken, but I have popped in today to share a card.

When making this card I went for a more CAS look. I had recently seen a magazine article on tea bag folding, so had a go with some digital paper from the same magazine, and was pleased with my result.  As I wanted it to take centre stage, I kept the card simple.

I used a fabric flower and brad for the centre of the folded flower, and mounted it over some washi tape.

I love the dimension the flower gives, without it being too bulky for the post.

The card was finished with some pearl accents and an embossed sentiment.

I had fun making this card and was pleased with the results.
