Patchwork Card

Welcome - I am glad to have you visit again.

I have called this post a patchwork card as there are various parts to it.

I started with the embossed resist panel again, as I so love that technique.

I then chose a dark blue base to contrast it against, and the orange embossed panel was sitting on my desk and it also 'fitted'.

I had seen a challenge for 'flaps and folds' and remembered that when I saw this wee card.

I embossed the sentiment inside it,

and then adhered it to the card with three strands of beads anchored behind it.
The final touches were the three sets of champagne pearls and it was finished.

Loved making this card, and the recipient loved it too.

  2. Lovely work - a card on a card. Reminds me of a favourite children's book my boys loved, full of mini books on every page. Thanks for sharing that cute bear and your lovely work with us at Diva's by design, Jx
