Orange Poppies

Welcome.
It is always lovely to know you have visited.

I made this for a birthday this week, and was pleased with the outcome, but unfortunately the camera did not pick up the colour of the poppies correctly - they are a lovely soft orange IRL!

The image was stamped onto some encyclopaedia paper (bought for the purpose, second hand) which was then scrunched and distressed with tea dye ink before being coloured with chalks and mounted on the dark brown panel.

I finished the card by mounting the stamped feature onto a white panel with a green bow and the sentiment embossed onto a tag I made.

The final touch were the brown pearls.
A CAS card for a family member who is not into 'fussy' things.
