Butterflies and Flowers

Welcome,
I'm so glad it is now officially spring here!!
I had fun in the studio this afternoon and made this card.

I had a couple of challenges in mind when I started, and was very happy with the finished article.

I started with a base that already had the circle cut in it, and added the dp and re-cut the circle.  Next I added the doily, and cut out the centre of it, embossed the sentiment onto that, and then adhered the piece to the inside of the card. The blue is the base behind it, although the sharp shadows distort it.

The sizzex butterfly was cut from silver paper and adorned with the clear rhinestones.

The flowers were my first try using the Bitty Blossom dies, and were cut from a shiny paper, and had lavender ink sponged on while they were still in the die.
