Pink Anniversary

Welcome

I was commissioned to make an anniversary card recently, and this is the outcome.

The couple had had pale pink in their bridal party, so I decided to go with that as a colour scheme.
The background, although it was a slightly textured paper, was insipid, so I adhered the pink to some white copy paper and ran it through an embossing folder, then swiped it with Spun Sugar ink to highlight the embossing.

The feature panel is a retired Layers of Color stamp, and I stamped it using my new Delicata Gold ink by Inspired Inks, and highlighted it by using a deep pink layer of card to frame it.

Look at that lovely gleaming gold ink!! No need for embossing with an ink like this!

To finish the project I added this fancy flower brad, and a layer of ribbon and lace.

I secured the flower shape with a pink centred brad, and then slipped and secured a wee tad of pale pink ribbon behind it.

I stamped the sentiment with the same ink (Delicata Gold) and again mounted it on the deep pink card to highlight it before placing it in the card.

I would like to mention here that the embossing folder and ribbon and brad came from RAK's from other stampers - thank you Grace and Michelle

I am pleased to say the customer loved the card.
