Welcome
I would like to welcome the lovely Nadine to my blog as a new follower, and encourage you to pop over to her blog at My Scrap'n'Stuff.
I tried my hand at banners on this card....
I am not entirely happy with it - the banners, in retrospect, should have been overlapped further.
All the edges were sponged with Cobblestone ink.
The sentiment was embossed with a denim EP, but for some reason, on the white stripe it speckled white.
The bakers twine and button finished the card.
All papers were from the Kaiser Craft Pad After Five.

I do think the banners are fine the way they are. The arrangement and choice of papers for the card is excellent. The embossed sentiment is actually unique the way it turned out. The white stripe that it speckled on looks as if it is a rough surface. That could be why is came out that way. I like it. Have to remember that if I decide to try the embossing again. - Jim
ReplyDeleteMaxine, I think your banners look great and really like the overlapping on them. Fabulous colors for this card too.
