Welcome
I would like to welcome my newest follower, Princess Judy of Blog This. Do pop over and visit her - her work and wit are wonderful.
I am glad to report that the nerve release went smoothly and I am healing well, and glad to be back here.
These next few posts will be of cards made before all this happened.
I love this card, and am very happy with how it turned out.
I started out using the S/B 3-D Embossing folder Mediterranean Medallion, inking it with Memento Plum ink before embossing some white card.
I then took some Inka Gold Silver Paste and rubbed it over the 'vine' section of the embossed panel.
I then took another piece of purple card, embossed the sentiment in silver and cut it using a S/B Lacy Circle die, and mounted that over the circular cenete part of the embossed panel, and finished it with some silver liquid pearls.
The final detail was a bow of mauve ribbon, and then the feature panel was mounted onto a purple base.

Glad to know that your surgery went well and you're on the mend. Love your card made with my favorite oolor. So pretty with all the lacy look to it. Hugs, Maggie
ReplyDeleteMaxine that's so pretty! I really need to do more liquid embossing. I really don't use that technique at all and it's so so pretty. So clever to have used paste over the dry embossing too. Beautiful frame shape created with that folder. Good to hear your nerve release went well. Rest and heal well friend. Hugs, Wends x
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are on the mend, Maxine! Beautiful card, love the embossing paste on the vine.

ReplyDeleteI also wanted to thank you for the sweet card that arrived today! I love the neat whimsical offset design! No worries on when you use the die even if it's not until NBUS 2017, haha! I know how that goes!! Big hugs, Darnell
