Simple Sympathy

Welcome

I was asked to make some sympathy cards, and this is one of them.

The central panel is a digi from McMahonfive Designs called Honeysuckle that I have had printed off for years, and came across in my folder recently.

I coloured the flowers with Prismacolor pencils and the added WoS.

The sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs was stamped and gold embossed in the blank area, and the panel then mounted over some pink sateen adhesive ribbon and paper from the TrimCraft pad Botanical Notes.
The finishing touches were some green flatback pearls.

  6. Sympathy cards are so hard for me to make because I always want to pick an image that is beautiful but not too wild or cheerful. Love your choice though-it is perfect. Thanks for posting it to TIOT. :)

  9. Maxine, this is beautiful my friend. I love the big satin ribbon, it gives your card a great added dimension. These are the hardest cards to make but this one would surely bring peace and serenity. Hugs! ♥
