A Nautical Adventure

 Welcome

This card is made entirely of NBUS items that were part of a RAK from Alicia at Time To Create - Thank you Alicia, I was blown away with your generosity.
The gift basically contained a lot of the elements of the release from Kaisercraft called High Tide

I used some of the paper from the pad and embossed it with the netting folder - it was so deep that it broke the surface of the paper - saving me the need to sand it as I had planned.

The edge of the paper was sponged with pearlescent white ink, which gave it the look of sea spray.

I used part of the collectable elements for both the word, the rope and the compass

And the sentiment was from the pop-outs at the back of the paper pad.

I finished the inside of the card with a cut off from the background paper.

  17. Love the shimmering colors on this embossed card...very pearly with the soft coloration of the dp (which can be the color of the sea at times!) Adding the dimensional rope and the other elements, so pretty & combined so nicely with the nautical motif. This would be so great for a guy. (with the deep embossing, sometimes adding an extra piece of c/s behind the one you really want, helps to keep from breaking the fibers of the c/s!) TFS & Hugs
