Simply Lego

Welcome

Just a quick card today.  I made this in a hurry when DH was so very ill.

The recipient was turning seven, and he loves his lego, and is very clever with it, which gave me the inspiration for the card.

Mr Google-Images was very co-operative and gave me the image, which was printed off and mounted on black cardstock, layered over gold and then onto a black base.

The greeting was gold embossed on a black tag and mounted at the base of the picture.  I heavily embossed a number seven and added it to the panel, and seven dots of gold Kindy Glitz on the right of the card were the final touches.
The recipient was suitably impressed.

  8. Perfect for the occasion Maxine. My boys loved their Lego too. In fact when our middle son was in his thirties and was in the process of moving to Denmark (the home of Lego), he stayed in a hotel where every room had a big box of Lego bricks for the guests to 'play' with. He loved it! And I am sure the recipient of the card loved it too. Kate x
