Smooshed Alcohol Inks

Welcome

I want to start by thanking Loll for her various tutorials, and in particular this one on Smooshing Alcohol Inks

I followed Loll's instructions, and this background is the 'second dipping' of the Yupo paper - I love that it looks like marble!!

As this was a commissioned card, and as I had no appropriate stamp, I computer generated the sentiment, printed it onto vellum, and immediately silver embossed it.

As the invitation is to a celebration, I punched the balloons, added some silver thread to each balloon, then secured all three with a bow, and glued them to the base with a drop of Glossy Accents under the bow.
I layered the yupo paper into silver, and then the purple base, added a few silver sequins, and the card was finished.

  11. Beautiful card, Maxine. Love the mix of alcohol ink colours. The purples and silvers are perfect together. Great job with creating your vellum banner. I have done that once before and was amazed the ink stayed wet long enough to get the powder to stick. :) Your sparkly balloons are the perfect embellishment. Thanks for the shout out! xx
