Welcome
There have been many splish splashes around here recently - it rained cats and dogs yesterday as we copped the remnants of ex-tropical cyclone Donna. Some said a fitting day for an ex-plumber to be farewelled!! Added to those drops there have been (and will be for a while) plenty of tears.
I have yet to get back into the studio, so I am sharing a card I made a few weeks ago.
I started with a die cut that was part of a RAK from Aussie Annie. I cannot provide a name for it.
I layered the diecut over a layer of pale aqua blue sparkle card,
Stamped and silver embossed the greeting, and layered it over some organza ribbon, and added the bow, which fought me all the way!
The inside was finished with a thin strip of the sparkle card.

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous gesture from Annie and you did a beautiful job with this fab die. How fitting to post this after your hubby's funeral and how fitting that it rained. It rained on the day we buried my daddy too and I remember thinking then, all those years ago, that is was fitting that Heaven should be crying too. Funny the thoughts that run through your head when it's all still a little raw and numb. May love and peace surround you hunny. Hugs, Wends xoxo
