Rose Sympathy

Welcome

The majority of my cards are fairly CAS, and I particularly like sympathy cards to be CAS.

I started with a piece of silver card, and embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder It is an old one, called Ironworks if I remember rightly.  I discovered when making this, that if the folder has a geometric design on it, I can lengthen the embossed pattern to cover the full length of the fractionally longer A4 cardstock that we work with.

I stamped and silver embossed the rose and sentiment  on snippets of card, then die cut them using Memory Box Stitched Rectangles.

I painted the rose using Semco mica based watercolour paints

I added a small bow to the stem of the rose once it was painted

The card was finished with a sentiment on the inside - stamped in black ink.
It is straight - just that the card was on an angle when I photographed it.
