Butterflies on Lace, and Quilting

 Welcome

I was going through a dollar bag of 'bits' that I picked up at a craft display and sales day some months ago, and came across this snippet of (machine made) lace. I trimmed and tidied it up and made it the center piece of this card.

The purple card was embossed with a We R Memory Keepers geometric folder.
The butterflies were cut with a M/B Pippi Die from snippets of pink glitter card

The card was finished with a fish-tail banner with the greeting heat embossed on it,
and a piece of pink ribbon under it.

  7. I love this beautiful card. The lacy piece is so striking with the sparkly pink butterflies and embossed purple paper. Isn't it fun to find a great piece in a scrap bag that had been forgotten? I found you from your comments on Lin's site. I visited New Zealand in November and loved it. The people are so, so nice and the country is so lush and beautiful. Enjoy your day!
