Welcome
I am still one handed, so the next few cards that I blog will be ones that I have made recently, but have not had time to share.
I love the stamp set "Birthday Pals" by Sweet'n'Sassy Stamps, and used it on this card, starting by stamping and embossing the turtle, and then colouring it with my Polychromo pencils, I die cut him, and sponged a background before removing the die
The sketchy balloon coloured up well,
and thanks to the MISTI I got a great stamping of the matching sentiment.
After assembling the card, I added the doodled border, and was very happy with the outcome for Master Five.

very cute Maxine. Hopefully the hand is healing well.

ReplyDeleteHi Maxine. Your card is turtley-awesome!! :) Adorable. I have just come for a visit and have missed a lot from your blog. Sorry I didn't know that you were going for surgery on your hand. Hope the healing is going well. I can imagine how challenging life is with having only your left hand to use.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I didn't get your blog updates in my reader's list. Will check to make sure that your blog is still on my list. It's been there for ages so I don't understand why it would go missing.
Take care and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Cute card and great job. Sorry to hear about your hand. I hope you'll be back to your normal soon. I was in New Zealand in November and dearly loved it. It is so green and lush with high snow-covered mountains and beautiful waterfalls. We had a wonderful tour. I know you love living there.

Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word in Psalm 31:24 which says, "Be strong and take heart, all you hope in the Lord." So sorry for my late comment, just been so busy!
