Holly Hobby and a Necklace

Welcome
This was posted whilst I was in Australia, and for the first time I used my phone for a post!
There was a gremlin in this first paragraph which I have edited now I am home.

Whilst I was on holiday I had lots of time to stitch....  These Holly Hobby needlecases are for a sales table...

The inside layer is wool felt and adorned with some lace

The large beads on the necklace were covered with knitting. This was done with varigated pearl thread and beads before being threaded onto the wire with coloured beads.

These are another three needlecases that I made previously.

  1. What super creations Maxine and you are much braver than me doing a post from your phone, I can't even manage it from my tablet as the keyboard is just too small for my dodgy eyes and fingers so goodness knows what I would post.

  4. Hello Maxine,

I hope you had a nice holiday. You deserve it and much more. Your dolls are delightful and the necklace equally so if not more. Your talent knows no boundaries.

    Take care,

    Monica

  9. Adorable needle cases. I also like the necklace. I want so much to get back into making jewelry, but I know I need to get my Christmas cards done first...
