Welcome
Today my post is a combination of a Valentines Day card and my Word Art Wednesday DT post.
The new Word Art Wednesday challenge can be found here.
I say combination, as love originated in, with and through God. Valentine's is an expression of love, but the most powerful expression of love was God, sending his only son Jesus to this sinful world to redeem us, and bring those who accept Jesus' forgiveness and Lordship in their lives into a relationship with the Living God - .something I am eternally grateful for.
I die cut the printed scripture, available as a free download at WAW, using a Spellbinders
Modern Stationery Die, and sponged around it before removing the die with Memento Ladybug Ink
This was mounted over some deep maroon corrugated card that I had splattered with Inka Gold gold paint.
I used the same paint to finger paint the hearts before removing them from the die - I cannot remember the brand of die, and I have removed the label...
I edged the top and bottom of the feature panel with some card I had sprayed with Perfect Red Perfect Pearls - one of my original sprays! That was mounted over the gold/yellow card base, and some gold sequins added.
The inside was finished with some washi tape.
