Sketchy Flower - Repeated Impressions

Welcome

This card was made using only one stamp from the STAMPlorations set Blooming Buds.

I inked the stamp for the feature image using markers, coloured it with watercolours, then layered Wink of Stella over it!  The background was also water coloured.

I double die cut the frame from orange card stock and adhered the image behind the frame.

I randomly stamped the image using Versamark Ink over the background, and clear embossed it,  The framed image was mounted onto the background using some card from a cereal box to add some dimension.

The yellow card front was mounted onto the orange base, and some ribbon layered over corrugated card was added to one side of the panel,

The final detail was the embossed sentiment, cut to a banner shape and layered offset over a blue banner

The inside was finished with some washi tape.

I appreciated the break I had, and am feeling the better for it, and I will shortly get back to visiting your blogs and commenting.  Thank you for your support and patience.

  2. So bright and just right for summer, Maxine. I like how you did the double frame and placed the lovely, shimmery image inside the top die cut. Beautiful flower and ribbon adds much charm and shine.

  4. Lovely colouring on the flower Maxine, you have made a super job of that. I like the way you have echoed the colour of the flower in the frame and the base card and then there is the touch of contrast with that turquoise ribbon. Looks great!
    Nice to have you back.

Doctor has rung and he has spoken to Cardiology who have changed my medication - given him a three point plan so hopefully the swelling will start to go down - it is so painful. Thanks for your good wishes.
