Welcome
November and I are not friends!!
I don't know how come it is the end of the month - somehow the middle two weeks escaped me!!
Sorry I have not been around 'blog-land' much, but life has been busy, and I have been exhausted by the evenings, which is when I usually visit - I am also working on the borrowed computer, which taxes the brain somewhat 😩
This masculine card was inspired by the die cut, that was one of many I cut when I was lent some dies by a friend - it was an unidentified one.
I layered the die cut piece onto a dark blue, linen textured card, but before doing that, sponged some clouds and painted the lower portion where the 'water' would be with silver
The tree and grass were lightly coloured with Prismacolor pencils
The dots are from a set of Ditzy Dots by Rosie's Studio. (They appear to have been discontinued now)
I simply stamped the sentiment (a magazine freebie) with black ink, using the Misti so I could repeat stamp and get good coverage.
The completed top layers were mounted over a pale grey base
I swiped the edges of the inside layer of card over a blue ink pad, and stamped the oak tree from the S.U. Lovely As A Tree set with London Fog ink to finish

I don't know about November but I seem to have that problem with the whole year!! You have created a lovely masculine card here Maxine, clever use of colour makes the focal element really pop.
