Sparkly Poppy and a Magic Window

Welcome

This is another Magic Window card - this time made for the New Zealand swap group I am in.
My partner for the swap last month more often than not has flowers on her cards, so that was the theme I chose for her.

The centre panel is made with a piece of paper napkin glued onto a circle of card, and layered over a maroon lacy circle die cut.  I added some pencil colouring to the image to deepen the colours, and then some Brusho SprinkleIT powder in Iridescent.

I misted the powders, and unfortunately some clumped together, giving the appearance of white spots, but the the sparkle is so bright in the photo, it caused the camera to loose focus!

I used the last snippets of the design paper for the inside panels, and used white embossing on a maroon snippet for the sentiment

The final touch was to add some satin ribbon to the outside to form a closure.

I will be away from my computer for most of next week - thank you for your visits, and hopefully I will be able to get around to visit after next weekend
