Welcome
This card started as a background that I made from Brushos while experimenting with their SprinkleITs - this one used an iridescent one.
The friend I made the card for is a keen gardener and amateur florist, so I chose a botanical theme
I was able to find some card that matched the brusho colours, as did the chiffon ribbon.
The wee floral images were from a Kaisercraft 6x6 pad called Rose Avenue
You can see some of the subtle glimmer in this photo - it is notoriously difficult to photograph.
The greeting is from the same pad - I edged them all with Memento Rhubarb ink
I used another of the pop outs from the same pad for the inside sentiment

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Maxine, with no stamps. What a great idea to use images from a paper for the card. Very inspiring idea. And I love the Brusho's background. I think I will have to start using more often my Brushos. Hugs, my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteA perfect card for a gardener Maxine and I always love Brushos, you never know what you are going to end up with but it's always pretty.

It's been a crazy busy start for me but I'm excited by what this year holds. Thought of you at Christmas as I know there will have been a distinct 'absence' there for you and my heart was with you. Sending loads of good wishes for a wonderful year ahead. Hugs, Wends xoxo
