Snippets Galore

Welcome

I made this card for a wee girl, and must admit that I am rather pleased with it.  The photos do not pick up all the glitter and sparkle, but it really is a very glittery card!

The paper is from a pack of "scrap paper offcuts" that one could buy cheaply at one point, and has gorgeous sparkly stylised flowers on it

The balloons were fiddly as they come as one die, so to get the various colours I had to make various cuts with the die (An unmarked,  NBUS one that I have had for a year or so) and also do some fussy cutting with scissors...

The '2' is from a Kaisercraft set, and the candles were another unmarked NBUS die set

I finished the inside with the sentiment and a trimming of the patterned paper.

  1. I love all the glitter so I'm sure that it will delight a little girl. I have several of those paper packs. It would be great if they were still available although I suspect that would just add to my stash pile!

  31. What a fabulous card for a little girl and I know she loved all the sparkle... us girls are funny that way. The more glitter and sparkle, the happier we are, even when we are older.
