Welcome
I want to take this opportunity to say I wish all my followers and visitors a
Christmas blessed with Peace and Joy
Albeit that it may not be what you would like, without family and/or friends to celebrate with.
We are so blessed here in New Zealand to be able to associate freely, but carefully!
I have moved house and am gradually sorting and setting up my craft supplies... it's a slow process!
I made this card using a minimum of supplies, but for all that I am pleased with it, as is the recipient.
It was made for my swap partner in the small N.Z. group I am in, and the challenge this month was to use the layered circle card technique.
What I had in mind and what eventuated were two different things, and after cutting two different sets of circles, I decided to use a double swirl on my card!
The colours, and the fact that we are just coming out of a late, wet spell of spring weather made me decide to use this greeting (a magazine freebie). It was stamped in Memento Tangelo ink, die cut , and sponged before the die was removed. The edge was run directly over the ink pad, as were the edges of the card itself.
The wee felt flowers were a gift from a friend - love the ladybird/ladybug on each of them.
I embossed the background with a daisy chain EF - another magazine freebie.
I finished the inside with a strip of orange washi tape.
