Welcome
I needed a card for an older teen girl, and came across an old magazine with these freebies in it.
I must admit it was a very 'easy' make to take the papers and images and layer them up.
I used a red card base, added a white layer, and then the spotted paper.
There were several variations of the main image, so I decided to use one to spotlight the girl with the dog - partly because the recipient has dark hair.
I added some deeper shading to the skin of the image, and also some more black to the hair to hint at the ethnicity of the recipient.
The edges of all the image panels were wiped over a red ink pad to give them definition.
The stamp I used for the sentiment is an old one, embossed with gold glitter ep on a hand cut,
double ended fishtail banner
The inside was layered with white card and two strips of washi tape added to the bottom.

ReplyDeleteI love this card for a teen girl Maxine! The image is so cute and I love the added color you gave the one gal. I also love how you gave focus to the gal with popping up part of her image. Looks great! Loving that dotted paper too. Such a fun, sassy and festive card. I know the teen will love it! Hugs, Brenda
