Simple Sanding

Welcome

A simple card today - but one that I loved the outcome of.

I embossed the pale yellow panel, then sanded it to show the white core

Deep red rhinestones were added to accent the details.. the eye of the bird

and the flower centres

The sentiment was white embossed on red, and the main panel was mounted over red, green, and then the bright yellow base

The inside was finished with some red floral washi tape.

Loving the color combo as well, that little peek of green is so pretty. The deep red gems are perfect on this card. I love it! Hugs, Brenda

  24. I have lots of core card but never thought of using it like this. How effective is that! So glad you like it yourself as we can be our own worse critics if we are not careful but I am not surprised you are happy with this. A delightful folder you chose.
