Welcome
I know it's been a while since I was here - I needed to take some time out and slow down, as I had tried doing too much, again. One day I may learn.....
It's time once again for the Word Art Wednesday Challenge to start, and this week we are sponsored by The Project Bin who are providing a $15 credit to their store.
The scripture, from the book of Jeremiah, was beautifully crafted by Karen M,
and is available as a freebie digital download at the Word Art Wednesday Blog Page
The card was cut from a S/B Labels Die, and sponged with Delicata Golden Glitz ink before removing the die.
Too ensure the stability of the card, I cut another layer from the die, and trimmed straight across the base of the die cut before scoring near the top, and gluing it to the upper portion at the back of the card
The ribbon was tied around it and held in place with the glued layer
The wee flowers were punched from a snippet of card that had been sprayed with a T.H. mica spray, Flickering Candle, and I popped a gold rhinestone in the centre of each of them.
This photo gives an idea of all the glimmer and shine provided by the inks, ribbon and spray.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you took time for yourself Maxine, we need to do that from time to time. And no, we never seem to learn and keep thinking we can do it all when in reality, we just aren't as young as we used to be and things catch up to us. I hope you did some R&R and are good to go for the Christmas season now.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous! I love all the shimmer and sparkle and shine. The scripture is just beautiful and you have did it justice with this card you have made. Love it!!! Stay well my friend. Hugs, Brenda
