Welcome
Today's post is for the final March Challenge at Word Art Wednesday, and we are being sponsored by Crafty Individuals, a British firm that makes the most delightful red rubber stamps.
I have used the ducks from the Favourite Ducks set.
I die cut the printed verse (available free at Word Art Wednesday) with a circle die and lightly sponged the edge with green ink, then mounted it onto a green scalloped circle. It was mounted on the base with foam tape to give some dimension.
I stamped the ducks in grey ink, and coloured just their beaks and feet, then fussy cut them and adhered them to one side of the verse
The front of the card was finished with some scored lines across the top, and a trimming of deep gold paper across the bottom - to both sets of lines, and on the verse panel, I added some small gold rhinestones
I used a matching gold strip across the bottom of the inside of the card - here you can see that it is gold.

The circle and scalloped circle dies are some of my originals!
A lovely clean design, great image, beautiful verse and soft delicate palette. Thank you for sharing with us at Sweet Stampin'

Maxine: I love how you titled your post, so the geese are gossiping the Good News! That would be wonderfully marvelous if they were able. Can you imagine being followed by one or more unrelenting until you said Yes to the Savior! :)
ReplyDeleteFAB card! I love how you did the verse!
Such a pretty card Maxine, I love the scripture-one that is so important to us Christians as we celebrate Easter. The gold and green color combo is so pretty, love the ducks too, they are so cute. The score lines and gems finish off the card perfectly. Hugs, Brenda
