Welcome
A change of genre today , this was made for a young man who is fascinated by steampunk.
It was a difficult card to photograph as the background paper is actually a sheet of paper from my spray box, with layer upon layer of mica spray.... so lots of glimmer and shine... and some wording from whatever is was originally showing through.
I was able to emboss, using Platinum E.P. the vertical Happy Birthday
The edges of the paper and the base card were also embossed with the same embossing powder
I used the cut outs from a 3/4 Designs paper pack called Gizmo Escapades
And a few die cut, dull gold cogs from an old Marianne die set

ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is so cool. That background is really something. It would be very expensive paper if purchased in a store. Such a fabulous steampunk card!
ReplyDeleteA lovely mixed media creation Maxine, sounds perfect for the recipient and those backgrounds are certainly getting used.
