Just Truckin' Along

Welcome

Just a quick note to say I may not be around the blog-a-sphere much over the next two and a half weeks as I am house sitting and have to hotspot  off my phone for data, of which I have a limited amount...

This card was made for a young lad turning eight.
I started off using a layered stencil, but kept it monochrone

The monster truck I found on the internet as free art, so sized, printed and water coloured it then fussy cut it out.
When I went to place it on the card, I grounded it with some ribbon that looks a bit like a road...

The sentiment was embossed in yellow on a banner die cut, and then attached it with a fine metallic thread to the aerial.

I kept the inside simple with some washi tape in 'racing stripes'.
