A Promise of Spring

Welcome

Another quick post as I am still away from home, and having fun with sprays and stamps that are not my own - the joy of house sitting for a fellow paper crafter!

The stamp was unbranded, and stamped in Versafine Clair Pinecone ink and coloured with my Polychromo pencils

I trimmed around one edge before mounting it over a panel sprayed with Kitsch Flamingo distress spray, and Lindy's Get A Guy Gold Mica spray - it has a gorgeous gleam that I tried to capture above

The sentiment was cut from a piece of card I had coloured with Memento Sunflower yellow ink,
and mounted over several layers of white  before adhering to the base

The all the layers on the front, and the inside liner were all edged with the Kitsch Flamingo ink  - my new favourite ink!!  A trimming from the front, sprayed panel decorated the inside.

I am linking this to:

  3. Lovely card. I love the flower and bird image and the way you have coloured it with pencils. How lucky you are to be house sitting for another paper crafter. None of my friends make cards. Only the virtual ones do lol Must be so much fun having a nosey through someone else's stash. Thank you for sharing and for taking part in the Polkadoodles Digi Choosday challenge. Happy crafting! 7. Such a pretty card. It is a lovely image-could bevan English spring garden. I bet you are enjoying using some different things. Have you tried anything that you now 'must buy' for yourself? I recently bought a couple of Claire inkpads. They have some useful colours in their range. Kate x
