Framed Butterfly

Welcome

I have spent the afternoon crafting, and this is one of the results - I can blog it now, as my grand daughter is too young to be reading my blog...

The butterfly was one I stamped while house sitting, and it was unmarked .. I had been playing with Wilted Violet DOX and stamped and embossed over it.  I was initially not happy with the result, until I trimmed it out, adding a body as I did.

I layered some cheerful paper from an Amy Tangerine pad called Sketchbook onto my base, which I had edged with Wilted Violet DOX also.

I made a frame for the sequins (Razzle Dazzle mix from Picket Fence), but before I added it to the base, I put down a layer of vellum to mute the paper behind the sequins, embossing the sentiment onto it.

The inside was finished with the strip of sparkly washi tape across the bottom
