Onto today's card - a simple pair of die cuts on, would you believe it, another napkin base!
The bird, an older Inspire S/B In Flight die, was cut out of metallic paper
The greeting was also an older S/B die, cut twice in card and once in the metallic paper
These were mounted over the napkin background, and three pink sequins were the finishing touch.
The inside was finished with two layers of washi tape - a pink chevron design covered by a silver chevron design. It looks better IRL as the silver shines.

Metallics can be difficult to photograph. Love the fact you managed to capture the shine from the images. Great card. Love the finished interior.

Maxine, the metallic/colorful strips look amazing on the fun card! Beautiful!

ReplyDeletePretty card, thanks for joining us at The Crafter's Cafe's Anything Goes challenge.
ReplyDeleteLove your use of napkins but the bird was the most striking piece. It looks fabulous in metallic card. Love how you echoed the metallicness (is that a word?) in the stripes and placing them diagonally echoes "flight" for me. A great card
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Neet xx
Love the beautiful rainbow strips and pink metallic bird. Lovely card. Thanks so much for your comment on my blog. I'm still recovering ... slower than I'd like but starting to feel a lil better. Take care! Hugs, kris
