Welcome
It's time to introduce the new challenge at We Love Stamping where the challenge is:
Anything stamped, with an option of (real) birds or animals.
I chose to use a bird image from the set A Lot of Birds from Art By Marlene.
It was stamped and heat embossed with Silver Hologram ep, then painted with mica paints , before it was fussy cut.
The sentiment, a very old Hero Arts stamp, was stamped on a snippet of card I had randomly painted with the same paints, and then silver embossed.
As you can see in the photo below, the result has lots of sparkle and shimmer.
The images were adhered to a piece of blue bubble background paper, and three crystal dew drops added to the opposing corners, and the edges run over a Catherine Pooler ink pad, Aquatini, before being mounted onto a pale blue base, also edged with the same ink.

The silver EP gives a really rich feel Maxine and I can visualise how lovely the sparkle is from the mica paints.

Maxine, you never fail to impress. Every single time I come to your blog I see a masterpiece and this time is no exception. Your birthday card looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI remembered how you stamp the inside of the card and the envelope with something from the main image and I did it - at last! I was so chuffed. Thank you for the idea which I see you have employed again here. I do admire your cards and the way you finish them off with that extra little bit of "special".
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely bird by Marlene, `I love her chubby figures and this chubby bird is beautiful. Love the sparkly bits you did. The recipient will love it.
Blessings, Neet xx
