CAS Sympathy

Welcome

It's time for the start of the June challenge At We Love Stamping,

This was a very difficult card to photograph as I used a deep navy blue card for the main panel, but the camera kept wanting to 'flash' because of the dark colour.

The image was a NBUS from a red rubber set by  Indigo Blue, called Wild Meadow, which I stamped and silver embossed, along with the sentiment - a magazine freebie

On the right side and across the base I scored three lines for interest
When I mounted the blue panel on the white base, I popped a small panel  of silver paper under the top left and bottom right corners of the main panel - unfortunately the camera did not pick it up at all.

  5. What a lovely sympathy card. I thought the paper was pearlescent at first, but I imagine the white embossing on the dark navy card looks stunning in real life. Great use of dry embossing too xx

  17. Color can really mess with a camera can't it Maxine?! I love what I am seeing, although I doubt the color is true to the real deal, it is still a stunning card. Love silver and blue together and I love the image you embossed silver. So pretty! Hugs, Brenda

  19. A very nice card. CAS always looks classy if done well and this is done well. I love the way you just used the image in a corner and then did the embossed lines - something I keep meaning to do but never do.
    Blessings, Neet xx
