Welcome
This card was made for a friend's husband, who recently told a tale about a very cheeky mouse in his house, and that was the inspiration for this card!!
It's very CAS, but it works and was appreciated.. I started with the image from Katzel Kraft.
I know it is a rat, but it served the purpose...
The image was stamped on the inside of the card in London Fog ink and coloured with watercolour paints and pencil, then masked and a halo brushed around him.
I hand printed the ha ha ha with a fine pen, and added some glossy accents to it's eyes.
The top and bottom edges of the card were accented with geometric washi tape.
I die cut the front panel of the card, and then 'framed' the image with a layer of grey card
The sentiment, a much used magazine freebie, was stamped in London Fog ink, cut into a banner shape, edged with the same geometric washi tape and mounted on foam tape.
I added a part of the image on the bottom right of the envelope.
