Pussy Cat Pussy Cat...

Welcome

Thank  you for visiting today - it is very much appreciated.

I needed a thanks card, and am also a guest DT at Critter Crazy Challenge this month,
so I combined the two.

The card is for a male, who was adopted by a cat, after refusing to have one for years, hence the image.

The image is from Gina K's set called Cordial Cats, and was cut with a matching die, before being mounted on an oval, cut with a TH Thinlets die. stitched ovals

The oval was mounted over a textured panel, pierced with a plate simply labeled 'swirls' that was  in a giveaway package I won.

All the layers were edged with Delicata Golden Glitz ink, and layered on 1mm foam tape

I stamped the inside with the paw prints stamp,

and the mouse hole stamp

I also stamped the enveloped with the paw print stamp.

  3. I love this card Maxine. Perfect for a male OR female I think. I especially love how the gold pops out at you & I really love that piercing in the card - I don't think I've noticed that before in your cardmaking but its wonderful. xx

  4. Maxine, your card and your comments here made me chuckle. I love how cats adopt people and not the other way around. I’m so glad that this guy that you made this card for is enjoying his cat. He will love this card. I love how crisp at the image is and you’ve done a great job with a gold trim too. That’s really great that you’re the guest designer this month at The Crazy Critter Challenge. I’ll have to check that out, it sounds like fun. so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday too. We always appreciate you!

  5. Very thoughtful. Cats are very independent but can be a joy to play with. Their purrrrrring is soothing. Love the design of this card. Purrfict for a new cat owner.

  11. Maxine, another super cute card. the stitching in the background works as a backdrop for a cate for sure and the mousehole complete the picture of "what could have happened."
